ABOUT US
Headworks Pty Ltd was established by Basil Keir.
Basil was brought up in Mildura, Victoria and as a teenager attended Mildura Technical School. While he was there, his interest in old motorcycles began and he was sometimes seen riding an old British motorcycle to school. Basil became an automotive machinist Class A, on January the 3rd 1977.
After several years of working in the automotive industry and then the motorcycle industry, he set up Headworks Pty Ltd as a registered business in November 1986.
As the years have gone by, along with cylinder head reconditioning, he has worked on anything from an 1892 Peugeot to a 2015 BMW.
Basil brings over 40 years experience in automotive machining of cylinder head reconditioning and modifications; current models through to vintage and veteran. Specialist in restoring classic motorcycle engines.
